Chocolate Lava Cakes

This is a big favourite of my family!
Quick, easy, and delicious treat!

Ingredients: 

5 tablespoons of butter
3.5oz dark/semi-sweet chocolate
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 tablespoons of flour
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
pinch of salt


Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425°F

Melt the butter and chocolate together. I melted in increments of 25 seconds, because you don't want to burn the chocolate.

 Then add the eggs and mix together. 

Next, add the sugar, flour, cocoa powder and salt. Mix it all together.

Pour the mix equally into each ramekin dish. This recipe makes about 4, depending on the size of the ramekin dishes you use.

Put the ramekin dishes into a glass dish, and fill the dish with water, to create a bain-marie.
 
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
When they are finished, the tops should be cake like, and look like this.
Serve warm, and add cream or dust with powdered sugar. 
Strawberries and ice cream also are a great touch!
