Skinny Chocolate Chip Cookies

A healthier take on an all time favourite!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of butter
2 teaspoons of vegetable oil

½ cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 egg white
¾ cup of all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon of baking soda
½ cup of chocolate chips


Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F

Mix together the softened butter, oil and brown sugar.
Add vanilla and egg white.
Add flour, salt, and baking soda and mix together.

Add the chocolate chips, and mix them in.

Roll teaspoon balls of batter and place on a nonstick baking tray, with an inch or two between them.

Bake cookies for approximately 5 minutes, or until golden.
Makes approximately 24 cookies.
