Vanilla Malibu Cupcakes

For one of my childhood best friends birthday I decided to do a little experimenting with a Malibu cupcake recipe that I found on By Stephanie Lynn.
It didn't taste that much like Malibu, but they were amazing and so moist!
Ingredients:
Cupcakes:
Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix

3 Large Eggs

1 1/3 Cups of Water

2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon of Malibu Rum
Icing:

1 1/4 cups of softened butter

8 cups of Confectioners/Icing Sugar

1/4 Cup of Milk

1/4 Cup of Malibu Rum

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla

Directions:
Preheat the oven to the suggested temperature on the cake mix.

Mix the cake mix as directed on the package, when combined; add in the vanilla and rum.

Bake as directed.

Icing: Mix the softened butter and vanilla with an electric mixer on low for one minute. Add in the Malibu and vanilla.

Gradually add in the icing sugar until the mixture is a creamy consistency.

Very delicious cupcakes!

Happy Birthday Erin!

Ps. If you're wondering how I made the heart topper, I cut out two hearts the same size and glued them back to back on a skewer. Then I covered the heart with mod podge, and covered it in glitter. I stood it up to dry over night, and then placed it in the cupcake.
