Old Fashion Chocolate Chip Cookies

Old Fashion Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love chocolate chip cookies, but there are so many different recipes out there.
They look so good in the pictures, and then when you make them they never quite turn out the same way.
I am going to keep trying different recipe's until I find the perfect recipe!

This recipe is from Serving For Six.

Overall, these cookies were really good, but definitely didn't look like the ones in the picture.

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup of softened butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F

Combine the softened butter with the granulated sugar and brown sugar in a bowl. Next blend in the eggs and vanilla together with a mixer.

Add in the salt and baking soda. Slowly add in the flour until blended completely.

Finally, add in the chocolate chips.

Roll dough into 1 ½ inch balls, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 11-12 minutes.
