Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies

Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies

I saw something similar to these, but peanut butter chocolate chip (and my mum isn't a fan of peanut butter. I love it, but anyways...) thought I would give a chocolate chip brownie cookie a go.

They are amazing!
I combined two recipes: Inspired Taste and Urban Bakes.

Ingredients:
Chocolate Chip Cookies:
  • 1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups of packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
Brownie Cookies:
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of butter/margarine
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Melt the butter, and mix in the granulated sugar, and light brown sugar.
Next, add the vanilla and eggs, and stir.

Add the flour, baking soda and salt, and mix together.
Finally, mix in the chocolate chips.

Set aside the dough.

Brownie Cookies:

Melt the butter, and mix in the granulated sugar, and light brown sugar.
Next, add the vanilla and eggs.

Add the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Mix together.

Roll 1-inch balls of both doughs, and press them into each other, then rolling between your hands into a ball.

Lightly press onto a grease/lined baking tray.

Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Leave on the tray for a few minutes, then cool on a rack.
