DIY: Woven Chain Bracelet

To make this bracelet you will need embroidery thread, a chain bracelet, scissors and sewing needles.
I bought my embroidery thread at the dollar store, but you can also find it at craft stores and also wal-mart.

First you need to measure the thread 4 times the length of the chain bracelet.
The thickness of the colours you use (how many threads per colour) depends on the size of your bracelet. I ended up using two white and two blue (one of each shade of blue).
I started out with four per colour, but quickly found out that it was a lot harder that way!

Next, you want to take one end, and tie a knot at the end loop, closest to the clip.
Make sure you pull the knot tight!

Now, I have three sections. One of each colour plus the chain.

First, I took the white section, and I went under and up through the first link (not the one with the knot), and pulled it through.

Next, I crossed the blue over the white.

Now, I do the same thing as I did with the white, going under and up through the first link, where the white one went.

Pull tight, and repeat. Cross the white over top of the blue, and under and up through the second link this time.
Then take the blue over the white and up and under the second link.

Repeat this until you get to the second last link.

When you are at the last link, you need to tie a knot.

Trim the end pieces (after you have tight knots).
