Homemade Granola Bars

Delicious, and great way to save money!
I found this recipe here at allrecipe.ca.

2 cups of rolled oats
¾ cup of  brown sugar

¾ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
¼ cup of wheat germ
1 cup of flour
¾ teaspoon of salt
½ cup of honey
1 egg
½ cup of vegetable oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
¾ cup of chocolate chips/raisins/trail mix (optional)


Preheat the oven to 350°F
Grease and flour a 9x13 baking tin.

Mix together oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour, salt and
chocolate chips/raisins/trail mix.

In the middle, add honey, egg, oil and vanilla.
Mix into the dry mixture.

Pat down into the baking tin.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Cut the bars before cooling completely.
