Friday Favourites: Summer Florals

Happy Friday and Happy Raptors win and Happy New Taylor Swift song - so many things to be excited about this weekend. Especially if you are a Toronto fan and Taylor fan!
My post is sadly not themes around Raptors and Taylor Swift, but it is very summery and floral, so I am hoping this encourages the weather a little bit!
I have a weekend of final assignments to pump out and took Friday off to work on them... oh well, can't win them all! Next weekend I will be free for two weeks so I have that to look forward to!

I am obsessing over the flower cake trend right now, and there are so many ways to do this trend! The link from Twig Studios above has the instructions to make this gorgeous cake and it doesn't seem that hard! You could even just do the flowers on the outside instead of putting them in the cake sponge as well.

There's a ton of ways to make your wall art actually interesting, therefore your bedroom doesn't look when literally everyone else's. #bedroomwalldecorideassmallrooms

I love this DIY idea and there are so many ways to do it. It you want it to be slightly classier, I would make it without the twinkly lights, but those are a fun addition. You could have this inside your home, or even out in the garden or anywhere really. While the links above don't give DIY instructions, it looks like you just glue fake flowers to a string, and likely need something weighted on the bottom to keep the strings hanging straight and not tangled in each other. These strings were tied around a big stick, and then a green garland was tied onto the stick, but I think this is optional, I don't think you need to do this.
