My New Sofa Cover

Sharing part of my newly updated space!
*In partnership with Comfort Works*
At the end of last year I continued with my room refresh project, this time, with a beautiful new sofa cover! Through my Interior Design degree, we have spent a lot of time on the subject of sustainability, which is a growing topic inside the industry of design but also in the rest of society. I think that it is also important to think of this when it comes to furniture. I've had this Ikea Karlstad soft for many many years and rather than buy an entirely new sofa, I love that I was able to design a custom sofa cover with Comfort Works!

When you visit the Comfort Works site, you can find the brand of sofa you have and select the material and style you want. The current brands that Comfort Works carries includes: Ikea, Pottery Barn, Muji, in addition to made-to-measure but they are working on a range for Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, and Rowe.
On the site you can select fabric samples to try at home. This is exactly what I did to ensure that the colour of fabric I chose matched perfectly. The little package it comes in is recyclable and suggests ways to up-cycle the samples after you have picked the colour for your sofa.

Then, once I decided on a colour, I went onto the website, I selected my sofa: Ikea Karlstad, style: Classic, colour: Luna Flax.
Then, wait for the covers to arrive!
It took me less than 20 minutes to switch out the covers and they looked amazing. No ironing/steaming necessary.
Comfort Works kindly sent me 4 pillow covers as well. Two blush and two pink.
Comfort Works makes an assortment of different pillow/cushion covers and dining chair covers in addition to the sofa covers.
Plus - because these are removable, you can wash them easily!
Before (Left) & After (Right)

I would 100% recommend ordering from Comfort Works. I am so happy with my new sofa! I also love that I can breathe new life into something old.
My dad also build this gorgeous coffee table for me! I am so happy with how it turned out!
Please note that the sofa cover was gifted to me by Comfort Works, but the opinions are all of my own. Comfort works did not guide me or suggest what to say. I truly loved my experience with them.
